Meet “Your Voice” in Local Policing
Here’s your chance to have your concerns about law and order in the Debatable Lands heard! So if you’ve got praise for your local copper, concerns about an injustice or simply need to alert the authorities to something, this is a great opportunity to be heard by the man who takes your voice into the governance of Cumbria Police. After all we don’t want to see scenes like those in a town called Ferguson here again… we got done and dusted with all that nonsense 400 years ago thank goodness!
So you can see Judge Dredd oops! the Police and Crime Commissioner, Mr Rhodes, at a public surgery this week in Carlisle. Linda McGinley is trying to reach as many people as possible to publicise the event.

The Wheres and the Whens
The surgery sessions will be held at the Tourist Information Centre in the centre of Carlisle this Thursday; 21st of August, between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. Appointments can be made ahead of time or people can just call in.
It would be much appreciated if you could circulate the message to anyone else you can think of who might be able to advertise or spread the word by anti-social media for us? Yep that includes Faceache, Twitface and all the other places that people find their news online. Let’s make this a surgery that needs a full crime commission to run it! Get involved we’ve seen far too many scenes that are synptomatic of police and citizens not communicating. Thankfully not here very often.
