Stanwix Community Centre is finally about to be subject to its official opening by the Community Association and the Council. Lots of people have put in an enormous amount of work to get us to this point. Finally though it’s happening.
With the sounds of Zing to keep things moving from Half past 12 the milestone should be a happy occasion.
The Community Centre in Stanwix has been transformed inside and out. Our users are commenting on what a lovely functional community hall we have for this part of Carlisle. As we work to make the centre available for communal activities, we also need to allow for wear and tear. So any amount that you can chip in via good ol’ Paypal (or any other means) would be much appreciated.
Stanwix Community Association are a voluntary organisation and registered charity responsible for looking after the Community Centre for everyone’s benefit in Stanwix.
As a local voluntary voluntary community organisation in Carlisle, we are always in need of willing volunteers… we are friendly; never been known to bite, so come and join us.
