COVID 19 Precautions and Community Safety

In the light of changing government advice on the COVID 19 pandemic, the directors of Stanwix Community Association have closed the centre to all external bookings and users with one exception.

(As previously noted, if you are unable to use a booking you have already made, please email the booking manager and refunds or credit notes will be organised for you as soon as possible.)

Following one of our policy reviews we have responded to government guidance and Stanwix School’s need for more accommodation, to cope with social distancing requirements. You will see the community hut in use, but currently it is only Stanwix school that can use it as an extra teaching space until this pandemic crisis is under control!

We hope you stay well, despite some unhelpful decisions by government.

Above all, follow the government’s occasionally sensible instructions… and then take slightly more precaution. With everybody working together, the COVID19 pandemic will be brought under control… eventually!
